Q1. Please introduce yourself and your works.
I am the second ambassador of Mozambique visited to Tokyo in Japan. I arrived at here in Tokyo in August last year. Well, my country was born after liberation straggle which brought us independence in 1975. In my country, we praise and we give probability and prominence to elder person and foreigners. We always like to respect foreigners and also elder person.
Q3. Is there a similar point, or unsimilar point with Japanese characters?
First of all, for instance, food. We like so much eating fish and I can see Japanese also like eating fish. Secondly, the culture, the music. We have in Mozambique, what we call , Tembilla which is the much instrument made of wood, which is also very well appreciated here in Japan. So there are so many aspects both in culture. We use to say that even kimono wearing, we do have similar dressing in Mozambique which is Nomorap, which is used by men and weman.
Q4. If there is a cultural gap between teenagers and elders, please tell us about it.
The most difficult situation at this moment between children, elder and parents, it is the way the young people dress today, both girls and boys. Most of them, they try to imitate what is the way they dress in Western society. That is so much criticized by elder citizens. And, the music. Many young people like the music from America, and they try to forget what are our roots in terms of our culture. So there are major problems in the dressing and the music which are really you can find the gap between the youth and elder people.

Q6. Please give a message to students in Japan.
To the students, I wish that they continue their spirit of openness, friendship, and collaboration with Africa. Africa needs to learn from the experience of Asian development, Asian youth activities. So we rely on the Japanese students to learn a little bit more of the experience of Asian development.
